|
Alongside the steel pan playing I've always enjoyed working with children and adults in a workshops setting, whether it's offering fun experiences, teambuilding or education. My main company offers school children and staff hands-on music-making experiences from around the world (www.worldmusicworkshops.co.uk), as does my new book for teachers and musicians interested in developing workshops, 'Teaching World Music'.

| Hope For Haiti - March 2010, Great Walstead School | |
An inspiring two days in which Great Walstead School raised a huge amount of money and awareness for the plight of the Haiti people who had lost their lives, families and homes in the earthquake. Fire and Rescue representatives from West Sussex came in and gave an emotional account of their experience in the days immediately after the quake. I was asked to bring some fun to a very humbling occasion and the staff and children didn't hold back. The result was lots of money raised and a great deal of smiles. |  |

| I am very lucky to enjoy a lot of variety in my work as a performer and teacher, from Performing my world music show in front of hundreds of children in a large theatre, to working in a small intimate setting with lovely people like Betty, who is a day patient at Worthing's renouned St. Barnabas Hospice. | ||

| The Broadwater Carnival | |
|
One of the biggest carnivals in West Sussex is the Broadwater carnival, hosting an array of floats and themes every year. Last year was no different. I was on a Caribbean float playing the pans and joined by my two gorgeous daughters and their friends!
